**Chris McCandless = Alex Supertramp**
Free Write schedule
You'll be reading at your own pace. Use the books in class or the links below outside of class. As you finish every couple chapters, work on the free write and hand it in. DO NOT WAIT until the last couple days to hand everything in. Manage your own time and use it wisely.
END GOAL - have the reading done and free writes handed in at the beginning of class on May 6.
After reading the selection, please respond fully to the following prompts. These will be submitted to Canvas every two chapters. Each response is expected to be submitted in paragraph form (unless noted) and graded out of 10 points.

Chris/Alex's Inspiration
With a small group, check out this art exhibit: http://heatherhorton.com/category/christopher-mccandless-exhibition/
In your group, freely share your opinions on why so many people find inspiration in Chris/Alex's story. As we watched in the bus video, hundreds of people have trekked to the "Magic Bus" - what do you think draws them there? There have certainly been more successful trips than not, but is this sometimes dangerous journey worth dying for? Would you go? Why or why not?
