Profile Speech
The topic for the first speech of the semester is going to be one of your classmates. A profile speech will basically profile one of your classmates' lives and personalities.
The only preparation for a profile speech is that you'll write down 10 questions that you could ask in an interview with any member of this class. These will be very generic questions to get started gaining information from your classmate.
I will pair you up with a classmate. I can guarantee you that it will not be one of your closest friends. Your partner may be someone you've never before had a conversation with. After conducting the interview, each of you will take the information you learned and put together a speech.
