Ceremonial Speeches
More often than any other speech, we are called upon to present speeches of celebration. A speech given at a ceremonial occasion reaffirms a community's bonds and values and/or strengthens ties between individuals and groups. The purpose is to honor or commemorate someone. Although these speeches can be rather lighthearted, they can also be the most practical and realistic.
